boosting Uttar Pradesh’s connectivity
P
rime Minister Narendra
Modi inaugurated the
594-kilometre accesscontrolled Greenfield Ganga
Expressway in Hardoi, Uttar
Pradesh, boosting India’s logistics, supply chains, and infrastructure-led growth. The nearly
600-kilometre corridor links
western UP’s commercial hubs
with central UP’s agricultural
zones and eastern UP’s cultural
centres, covering 12 districts
and reducing transit time and
freight costs. The expressway is
expected to strengthen regional
supply chains, improve access to
the National Capital Region, and
attract investments in pharmaceuticals, textiles, leather, handicrafts, and MSMEs. Combined
with expanding airport connectivity and upcoming logistics
hubs like Noida International
Airport, it is expected to enhance
Uttar Pradesh’s industrial and
manufacturing ecosystem.

Cargo Terminal 2 to meet rising
domestic and international air
freight demand. Spread across
16,864 sq mt, the facility begins
operations with a handling
capacity of 50,000 MT annually, expandable to 100,000
tonnes. The terminal includes
dedicated pharma handling
zones and automated cargo
processing capabilities aimed at
supporting pharmaceuticals and
temperature-sensitive exports like
perishables. The facility includes
dedicated inbound and outbound
cargo zones, import-export processing areas, multi-level storage
systems, and parallel shipment
processing areas. The project is
expected to improve turnaround
times, support freight forwarders
and airlines, and attract additional

for electric forklifts through its
Material Handling Equipment
(MHE) business, marking a
significant advancement in sustainable industrial mobility and
warehouse operations. Designed
to deliver nearly 25% lower total
cost of ownership, the Multi-Ion
battery offers faster charging,
higher equipment uptime and
enhanced operational efficiency
while eliminating rare earth
dependency and reducing
disposal-related challenges.
The technology provides up to
5,000 lifecycle charges, which is
approximately 60% higher than
conventional lithium-ion alternatives, enabling the battery
to last through the operational
lifespan of the forklift itself.
