Etihad Cargo adds Paris to freighter network

tihad Cargo will add Paris
Charles de Gaulle Airport
to its freighter network on
7 January 2025, o昀昀ering a weekly
service with over 100 tonnes of
additional cargo capacity. Paris
becomes the 12th destination in
the carrier's freighter portfolio,
enhancing global connectivity via Abu Dhabi. The route
will link Paris with key Asian
destinations, including Ezhou,
Shanghai, and Zhengzhou,
supported by an extensive
road feeder network in China
for greater market access.
The service aligns with Etihad
Cargo's specialised offerings,
providing capacity for pharmaceuticals, perishables, automotive, and live animal shipments
through products like PharmaLife,
FreshForward, and SkyStables.
Businesses in Riyadh, Jakarta,
and Manila will benefit from
expanded connections, supporting diverse logistics needs. This
launch reinforces Etihad Cargo’s
dedication to seamless, reliable,
and industry-tailored solutions

within 2-3 minutes, eliminating

depot on Fisherman Islands,
Port of Brisbane. Spanning
4.8 hectares, the facility
consolidates the company’s
freight forwarding, warehousing, projects, and mining supply
services. It features a 14,900 sq
mt customs-bonded warehouse,
a two-storey operations office,
and 26,200 sq mt of container
hardstand with awnings,
truck manoeuvring areas, and
quarantine capabilities. Built to
a 5-star sustainability rating,
the site includes a 100kW
solar installation, low-carbon
concrete, energy-efficient LED
lighting, and recycled materials. Strategically located near
the port, the facility supports
efficient freight handling and
offers solutions for container
import/export, airfreight, and
project cargo.

forklift operations at its Contract Logistics
site in Germany's Kassel, leveraging enabl

operators to control multiple forklifts from diverse

having signed a Letter of Intent to implement the
technology at additional global sites.
