Badr Abbas is Emirates SkyCargo9s
new
Divisional SVP
Emirates Group announced the appointment of Badr
Abbas as the new Divisional Senior Vice President at
Emirates SkyCargo replacing Nabil Sultan.
Abbas has spent 24 years of his career in Emirates
starting as a Commercial Management Trainee in 2000
and has been Senior Vice President – Commercial
Operations (Far East) till 2019 and Vice President – Commercial Operations (UAE & Oman) till 2015. He was most
recently Senior Vice President – Commercial Operations
(Africa) at Emirates, the role he has been in for close to five years.

to Head of Operations and Logistics
Kuehne+Nagel elevates Anish Jha to
MD 3 India, Sri Lanka, Maldives
Muthu Maruthachalam C will take over as
President and Chief
of Operations and
Logistics at Daimler
India Commercial
Vehicles (DICV),
effective August.
Maruthachalam
moves from his role
as President and Chief Procurement and
Supply Chain Officer at DICV, where he has
been spearheading the newly formed
Procurement and Supply Chain Management
organisation since April 2023. He joined DICV
when it was set up in 2009 as a specialist in
heavy-duty truck project management and
played a pivotal role in the market launch of
BharatBenz products in 2012. Maruthachalam relocated to Japan in 2015 to work at
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation
(MFTBC), where he was responsible for
product reliability and warranty for Fuso
Trucks and Buses, globally. In March 2020, he
returned to DICV in Chennai as Head of
Supply Chain Management and Logistics.
Kuehne+Nagel has
appointed Anish
Kumar Jha as Managing Director for India,
Sri Lanka, and the
Maldives. In his new
capacity, Anish will
lead a team of over
850 industry
professionals across
28 locations, driving Kuehne+Nagel’s
operations and strategic initiatives in the
Indian market.
With over two decades of dedicated service
to Kuehne+Nagel, Anish Kumar Jha brings a
wealth of experience and expertise to this
new role. Anish began his journey with the
company as a management trainee and
quickly took on responsibilities as the
Country Head for Air Logistics and General
Manager for Northern and Eastern India.
Most recently, he served as the Managing
Director for Thailand, Cambodia, and
Myanmar.
AISATS welcomes Sanjay Sharma to
its Board of Directors
Air India SATS
(AISATS) announced
the appointment of
Sanjay Sharma as a
Director on its Board.
Sharma brings over
three decades of
extensive experience
in the Real-Estate
and Infrastructure
sector, Corporate Finance, and Investment
Banking.
Before joining AISATS, Sharma held the role
of Chief Financial Officer at Air India. Prior to
that, he was the CFO of Tata Projects Ltd. His
vast experience also includes tenures as CFO
of Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd;
Managing Director, Head of Equity Capital
Markets at Deutsche Bank and in various
capacities at DSP Merrill Lynch Ltd in
Mumbai and Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific in
Hong Kong. Sharma has also been associated with various industry bodies in the past.

Somit Goyal for CEO role
IBS Software has
appointed Somit
Goyal as its new Chief
Executive Officer.
Somit succeeds
Anand Krishnan, who
served as CEO of IBS
Software since 2018.
He brings a wealth of
experience in the
enterprise software sector, having held
leadership roles at globally renowned
companies such as Microsoft, SAP, Oracle
and AOL.
During his 11-year tenure at Microsoft, Somit
held several leadership roles across strategy,
operations, sales and customer success. In
his last role, he managed the global sales of
Microsoft’s Modern Work cloud business, and
before that, Somit served as the Chief
Operating Officer of Microsoft’s Public Sector
business worldwide. Most recently, Somit
served as President and COO of Pluralsight, a
SaaS company, where he oversaw product,
engineering and GTM functions.

Dipanjan Banerjee as
Chief Commercial
Officer of Blue Dart
Express.
Dipanjan brings nearly
two decades of
extensive experience
in business development and market
expansion within the express delivery and
logistics sector. In his most recent role as
Chief Business Officer at Ecom Express, he
demonstrated his leadership and strategic
capabilities across various roles. Prior to
that, Dipanjan was with FedEx Express,
where he showcased his expertise in
strategic business planning, supply chain
management, and developing express
delivery solutions.

appointed Rajneesh
Garg as Chief Information Officer. In the role,
Rajneesh will provide
strategic leadership in
critical areas of
technology, with a particular focus on software
applications management and support.
Rajneesh brings with him more than two
decades of leadership experience across
multiple sectors including Banking/Insurance,
Travel and Hospitality, Manufacturing, Energy
Resources, Retail/CPG, worked with Capgemini as Vice President of Information Technology
and played a key role in overseeing regional
delivery and growth for consumer products
and retail accounts in the Nordic region.
Rajneesh also worked with Tata Consultancy
Services for more than two decades.
