IWS 2024 champions Innovation,
Collaboration and Engagement

he 13th edition of the
India Warehousing
Show (IWS), organised
by RX India, set a notable milestone in the warehousing
sector. Held at the state-of-the-art
Yashobhoomi, India International
Convention and Expo Centre
(IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi from
11 to 13 July, the event brought
together warehousing, material
handling, logistics, automation,
and supply chain professionals
from the entire industry under
one roof.
The 3-day event was inaugurated by Surendra Ahirwar,
Joint Secretary (Logistics and
Trade), Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal
Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of
Commerce and Industry, who
graced the occasion as the Chief
Guest. His address underscored
the government9s initiatives
aimed at fostering growth,
enhancing competitiveness,
and improving the efficiency
of services and solutions within
the sector. The inauguration
ceremony also witnessed the
presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Kamlesh
Gosai, Executive Director of
Gati Shakti (Traffic), Railway
Board, Ministry of Railways; H
N Aswath, Development Advisor,
Ministry of Ports, Shipping and
Waterways; and Sagar Kadu,
Director3 Logistics, Ministry of
Commerce and Industry.
As part of the conference
sessions, a series of insightful
discussions featuring government
and industry decision-makers. Key
topics included the National Logistics Policy, strategies to optimise
logistical costs, the integration of
AI and Industry 4.0 for enhancing supply chain eïciency, and
sustainability in logistics practices.
Noteworthy sessions also focussed
on women in leadership roles
within the logistics sector and
the transformative innuence of
e-commerce and Q-commerce
on consumer experiences.
IWS 2024 witnessed the
participation of over 250 exhibitors, comprising leading national
and international entities who
showcased cutting-edge solutions
in storage, transportation, and
logistics, featuring the latest
technological advancements and
live product demonstrations.
Leading names such as DP World,
APL Apollo Steel Pipes, Cush-
man & Wakefield, Mitsubishi
Electric, Nido Automation, Gandhi
Automation, Action Construction
Equipment, Avery Dennison, and
Gaurang Steel were among the
distinguished participants.
