In a signiocant boost to infrastructure and development, Sitharaman during her speech revealed about
the government9s plans for Bihar and Andhra Pradesh
and providing targeted onancial assistance.
She announced the investment of `26,000 crore
for highways development in Bihar. Road connectivity
projects include Patna-Purnea Expressway, BuxarBhagalpur Expressway, Bodhgaya, Rajgir, Vaishali
and Darbhanga spurs, and a new 2-lane bridge over
river Ganga at Buxar. The schemes are a part of a
