• Multimodalism – Cohesion between Road, Rail, and
Waterways for Bulk Chemicals: Accelerating modal shift
strategies to reduce logistics costs and emissions through
multimodal corridors, strengthening infrastructure readiness
across inland terminals and rail-linked chemical clusters,
enabling seamless handover protocols across transport modes,
and expanding the role of ISO tanks as enablers of safe, e昀케cient,
and sustainable bulk chemical trade.
• Crisis-Proo昀椀ng Hazardous Logistics, Storage and
Handling: Building comprehensive emergency response
architectures for hazardous cargo movement, strengthening
training-led safety cultures to support zero-incident operations,
adopting global best practices in crisis management frameworks,
and reinforcing maintenance and compliance protocols across
storage and transportation infrastructure.
• Connected Supply Chains – Integrating Production,
Procurement & Distribution: Strengthening cross-functional
integration to enhance visibility and responsiveness, addressing
procurement–logistics coordination challenges, enabling supply
assurance through collaborative sourcing models, leveraging
simulation and digital tools for proactive planning, and balancing cost, service, and agility through segmented supply chain
strategies aligned with demand variability and customer value.
Surecom Media’s Marketing Director, Ajeet Kumar, delivered
the opening remarks, reaffirming CARGOCONNECT’s mission to curate high-impact knowledge platforms that address
sector-specific logistics challenges while enabling industry
stakeholders to anticipate emerging transformation opportunities.
