of Commerce & Industry (FICCI)
hosted the 2nd Edition of GatiShakti
Summit, themed ‘Accelerating India’s
Logistics Vision for Viksit Bharat’, on March
24, 2025 at FICCI Federation House, New
Delhi. The summit brought together key
policymakers, industry leaders, and logistics
experts to chart India’s logistics future.
The day-long event featured three
knowledge-packed sessions, beginning with
a focus on infrastructure, investments, and
multimodal networks, followed by discussions
on digital tools like ULIP and green logistics
practices, and concluding with forwardlooking strategies for logistics growth.
Distinguished speakers included Pankaj
Kumar, Joint Secretary (Logistics), Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal
Trade (DPIIT); Kamlesh Gosai, Executive
Director - Gati Shakti (Tra昀케c), Ministry of
Railways; Anil Syal, Co-Chairman, FICCI
Committee on Logistics and President, Safexpress; Sachin Bhanushali, Advisor- Transport
and Logistics, The World Bank; Dr Jivisha
Joshi Gangopadhyay, Deputy Secretary,
DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry;
Pali Tripathi, CEO, Taabi Mobility and CoChairperson, FICCI Logistics Committee;
Shobhit Bhatnagar, Director, Dedicated Freight

The event attracted senior representatives
from across India’s industrial and logistics
infrastructure ecosystem and broader
industry sectors, facilitating meaningful
dialogue and identifying ways to make
India’s logistics sector more e昀케cient
and sustainable, aligned with India’s
Viksit Bharat vision.
